AOK Bags of Kindness

Bags of kindness are provided to families soon after a suicide has occurred. The bags contain useful items and information which may seem like a small gesture however it is often the little things that make a big difference in a time of crisis. 

Over the years the organization has also provided bags for first-responders often traumatized by the events they witness, elderly individuals too frequently forgotten by our community members and wildland firefighters on the front lines of major forest fires. Each bag is customized for the situation. 

What we have done to show our appreciation:

Most recently, Acts of Kindness responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by making and donating masks to seniors and the surgical center. AOK also donated over 60 Subway Sandwiches, cookies, chips and Coca-Cola products to 2 emergency room shifts during the crisis. 

In 2020, we donated 150 Kind Bags to First Responders and advocates of V/WS of Coconino to place in their pursuit bags.
